Door to Door Alarm System Sales People

We had the same young lady show up at our door last week. She was stating she wasn't a sales person but was out qualifying houses to receive one of 3 free systems in our area. Said a sales person would show up later if we were selected as a qualified house.

She also asked the question about what we believed was the weakest spot in our house so they would be able to suggest the correct system for us. Wait a minute...don't know this person and she wants me to tell her what I believe is the easiest way for her (or her partners) to get into my house???

Like Brian said, be careful, don't give them any info. It may seem innocent to you but can end up being used to their advantage and your detriment. Check them out on the internet and protect yourselves!

Just wanted to post a little something about door to door sales people. Thursday night I got a knock on my door. A young lady was selling alarms door to door. I spoke with her for about 30 minutes and told her to let me think about it and call me to make an appointment. Some of you may know we had some break ins on Matador a few weeks ago. Thats why they are in the area. They pull police reports and then hit those areas that have had break ins. After she left I did a google search with the company name and the word complaint in the search. I found pages and pages of complaints and news clips about this company. I would suggest to everyone that you do research before you sign up for anything.
